[Please look at the picture link towards the end of the blog, to see more snaps]

For more than 125 years, Luray Caverns has been renowned as a spectacular natural wonder. Today the caverns remain as magical and majestic as when they were first discovered in 1878 by a tinsmith and a local photographer. Millions of visitors have wandered the subterranean pathways and discovered for themselves the natural draw of Luray Caverns.

Smoky Moutains

[Please look at the picture link towards the end of the topic, to see more snaps]

Smoky Mountains ... nature's beauty, always attracts me a lot. Smoky mountain visit, during fall time is the best I can suggest to people who love to watch nature. During the fall time, the colors of the leaves changes, hence the whole forest looks like a color palette of the nature. We started on Oct last week, and driving through the mountain ranges excited me a lot beside taking photos. Camera had some issues [lens error stuff], so this time, I couldn't dive in to much of photography stuffs.
Smoky Mountains is at Tennessee.

One of the shortest trip i ever made to any city, unfortunately was to NY. But even then it was fun. The 3 rd most populous state in US. New York is known for its history as a gateway for immigration to the United States and its status as a financial, cultural, transportation, and manufacturing center. While the state is best known for NewYork City's urban atmosphere, especially Manhattan skyscrapers, most of the state is dominated by farms, forests, rivers, mountains, and lakes. New York has got one of the largest national park. During the short time I got there I managed to take some snaps.

Atlanta

Atlanta is the ninth most populated metropolitan area in the United States. Atlanta has got the largest aquarium and the stone mountains in Atlanta hosts the largest laser show in the world.
One of the good cities to visit. As any other big cities in US, Atlanta also boasts with tall and huge sky scrapers which is too good to be seen at nights.

Chicago

[Please look at the picture link towards the end of the topic, to see more snaps]
Chicago - one of the most influential cities and the 3 rd largest metropolitan city in USA. The busy down town, hell lots of sky scrapers and the sound of the city surely gets you excited. But one advice, don't try to drive inside Chicago city to reach places, better use the tourist buses [hop on hop off concept stuffs]. That is the best option that can be used to see places.... Lots of interesting places to visit, michigan lake, aquarium, national history museum, sears tower.. the list goes endless. I felt going back again taking much more time in hand and visiting more places.. lets see whether I can work out my plans or not. :-)

Delhi

[Please look at the picture link towards the end of the topic, to see more snaps]

I reached New Delhi, Capital of India on February 10, 2007. As least expected, it was raining heavily over there. Since, I was not all prepared to greet rain at Delhi, the thunder shower really greeted me !!! We were not knowing that this rain will continue next day also... and eventually killed us spirit to move out.. By evening, showers were less, so we took a cab and just moved in side the city. Took some snaps of India Gate at night. It is really marvellous structure built in the memory of more than 90000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the Afghan Wars and World War I. Believe me, it wakes up the patriotism in you !!!

So that day, ended peacefully as any other day !!! Next day, thank god !! rain gods were showing some sympathy on us, so it didn't rain, we set out to see much bigger and well known places of Delhi, it included Rajghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31st january 1948. Garden set up over there was superB...
Then we set our focus to Jantar Mantar, its not as impressive as the Jantar Mantar of Jaipur..
I felt it as a small replica of the original Jantar Mantar

Then we went to a temple, Birla Mandir, had some spiritual intake.. and set our mission to capture Qutab Minar...

Qutab Minar, marvellous sand stone structure which is claimed to be biggest tower ever built in India.

Nothing more to be told about the same, only pictures or videos are effective in translating what I saw over there.
